Words alone do not appear to be adequate in order to accurately describe this resort. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The sites are level concrete or paved areas, each with its own patio. The grass surrounding each site is watered daily and well manicured. Each site is easily accessible for the biggest unit on the well maintained, paved roads. These are complemented by the unobtrusive street lighting making getting around at night easy. The resort is gated and adjacent to a golf course that offers a generous discount on green fees for resort guests. We booked in advance but they didn't require a deposit or credit card details which caught me out. Considering that it was the last few days in August and leading up to the Labor Day Long Weekend the Resort was only about 40 per cent occupied. For several days we had the pool to ourselves for the entire afternoon. The showers and washrooms are immaculate. No pull thru sites but several 'pull on' sites. The wasps are a nuisance but I guess that at this time of year it is only to be expected. My only downside is that it is a nine hour drive from Calgary so I can't just 'call in' for a weekend. However, we will be back for another relaxing and most enjoyable week. The nearby town of Deer Park offers a well stocked and reasonably priced grocery store. There is a nearby local airfield but that did not bother us at all. If you feel the need to visit Spokane it is about 30 minutes to the downtown area. This site is a real gem and a well kept secret. We are looking forward to the day we can return.

This resort is in the middle of Coyote Creek Golf Course, Sundre, Alberta. There are 40 very large camp sites, all capable of accommodating big rigs. The sites are level and made up of compacted gravel. Each site is serviced by sewer, water and 50 amp electric. Each site has also a purpose built brick fire pit. Wood is available for $8 per load. A shuttle service operates between the site and the Golf Club house. I would have scored this as a full 10 if there was a pool and the course offered a discount for RVers. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. The site is peaceful and relaxing. Wash rooms, showers and laundry are all spotless. Washing machines and dryers $2 per load. The nearby town of Sundre offers several local shops for groceries. Access is easy on well maintained roads. The nearby local airport operate light aircraft but this did not affect us in any way. This is our second visit to this resort and we will return for more. All rates are in Canadian $ and include GST.

A big site in the heart of a small village. We camped here twice during the course of 2009 with full service hook up both times. The town is a 5 minute walk and there are a number of shops and restaurants that provide good meals and gifts. However, there is only one very small grocery shop so bring your provisions with you. The campground is frequented by deer which is nice to watch as they wander through. Not so nice are the over abundance of gophers. They can make walking across the grass very tricky, especially in the dark when it is quite easy to twist an ankle when tripping in their burrows. The staff are friendly and do their best to maintain the showers and toilets. The showers are irritating because you have to keep pressing the flow button to maintain the water flow. The strong winds that develop are a problem and can make for interesting times. Don't leave your rig unattended with the awning deployed, it could easily become damaged. We'll probably visit again in a year or so.

An old KOA with tight turns and narrow spaces. The roads were in need of resurfacing. The showers and washrooms were very good. Friendly staff who moved us to an alternative site after a problem with the space required for the slide out and awning. We are unlikely to stop here again.

There is friendly staff and good, clean washrooms and showers. There is a pool but we didn't use it so can't comment on that aspect. There is a well stocked gift shift that also sells a few groceries and accessories. The campground was busy while we were there but still remained peaceful over all. Some of the picnic tables look ready for the dump and some of the patios are in need of repair. In late June the river adjacent to the camp was in full melt water flood and far too dangerous to venture into. It was a little further from Yellowstone than I had anticipated and much further from the main attraction, Old Faithful. For this reason alone I am unlikely to return. Instead I'll pick a location nearer to the West entrance of the park.
